The MacBook Air 2022 to be released next year is likely to be an M2 chip, with a performance increase of 10 to 20%, and a body that is thinner than the previous generation. This is not groundless. The thickness of the old Pro and Air are very close, and the Air is lonely. Obviously, Apple’s future plan for the Mac product line is that the Pro is more Pro (heavy and heavy), and the Air is really Air (thin and light), so next year we should be able to stuff the Air into the envelope again, and maybe it will be even thinner than it was back then. After all, the M chip is really cool!
